Cordero San Giorgio

Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina are three siblings. A family that has a visceral bond with wine, their story of the siblings began in Piedmont, in Vietti, the family winery, to spread around the world, during years of learning in different countries, France, USA, New Zealand, studying new techniques and styles to improve the vinification.

In 2019, Francesco, Lorenzo, and Caterina acquired an ancient estate, Tenuta San Giorgio, to make it their own winery. From its 250 meters of altitude, on the hill of Santa Giuletta, it extends uniformly for about 22 hectares of old vineyards, with an average age of 40 years, cultivated in a sustainable way and with low environmental impact.

The soil of Tenuta San Giorgio is particularly suited to the varieties of the area, such as Pinot Grigio, Croatina, Barbera, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, indisputably the noblest grape of Oltrepò. In the remaining hectares of the estate, it has been decided to keep the centuries-old oak forest intact.
