A. Bergère

The Bergère family is making wine since 1848 in the Petit Morin Valley when Albert Bergère founded A.BERGÈRE House in
1949. André Bergère took later the head of the estate and considerably increased the size of the vineyards. When Brigitte Bergère started to develop the brand in France and neighboring countries and opened the shop in the famous Avenue de Champagne in Epernay.

Adrien Bergère, the son of André started on the field in 2013 after obtaining his oenologist degree. He arrived with a goal to promote the terroirs of the House and the potential of the Valley of Petit Morin. He immediately began to vinify all the parcels separately in order to understand the diversity of his soil and to isolate the best parcels, which gave birth to the single vineyards and Coteaux Champenois. He also started to build a barrel park to get the freedom of experimenting various types of vinifications. The desire of Adrien through his Champagne, is to highlight the richness of the estate terroirs. He selects the best vines producing characteristic juices and vinifies them partly in barrels and partly in tank. Expression and freshness are Adrien's first two goals.
